Elephant Themed Nursery

About this Project
This new expectant mom wanted to create an inviting nursery for her baby boy who was soon to arrive. We chose a soft grey and white colour scheme with pops of yellow; a perfect choice for either gender. The soft colour palette works well in this small space. We created a focal point with a thick grey and white striped feature wall behind the crib. The layering of patterns (stripes, polka-dots, chevron and solids) creates visual texture and warmth, while the plush yellow shag rug brings tactile texure and physical warmth. Crisp white nursery furniture anchors the space and helps to pull the different patterns together. The elephant theme was inspired by Mommy's favourite animal. The adorable elephant pokes out his trunk through the custom artwork, stuffed animals and objects throughout the room, and Interiors by Loredana's personal favourite, the plush rocking elephant!
